Talgo (Deutschland) GmbH is a maintenance provider for rail vehicles.
With over 110 employees, maintenance measures – both preventive and corrective – are implemented at the Berlin plant.
Our workshop is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ECM (Regulation (EU) 2019/779).
We also have certificates of suitability for bonding and welding on rail vehicles.

Among other things, our plant has two indoor tracks, each 365 m long, and is extensively equipped (excerpt):
- Underfloor lathe
- Track with pit
- Overhead line test section
- Indoor cranes
- Module repair workshop (power electronics modules, WC modules, water modules, air conditioning modules)
Since 2014, we have had at our disposal an additional facility with an elevated track, wheelset changer and underfloor wheelset lathe (up to 25 t wheelset load).
This project was funded by the EU as part of the ERDF program. Talgo (Deutschland) GmbH is part of the globally active Talgo Group, based in Madrid. The name Talgo stands worldwide for an innovative vehicle concept with very light and articulated vehicles. Talgo always offers to maintain the delivered trains. The holistic concept, which guarantees a consistently high utility value throughout the entire product life cycle, has so far been realized by all customers.
The continuous feedback of information from the operating network and maintenance leads to the constant optimization of Talgo trains – to the benefit of all customers. In our cooperation with customers, suppliers and all other contact partners, we attach great importance to acting responsibly and in compliance with the law. That is why we have our own Code of Conduct (CoC) (link in German) established.
